Short-Term Disability (STD)

STD plan benefits are designed to continue all or part of your income if you’re unable to work due to an approved injury or illness. STD plan benefits are available for up to 26 weeks. STD leaves commencing 1/1/11 are funded and administered by Nortel. Any STD benefit you receive will be taxable. The Company provides you with core STD Plan coverage-at no cost to you-as follows:

First 6 weeks 100% of your pre-disability Benefits Earnings
Weeks 7 through 26 66-2/3% of your pre-disability Benefits Earnings
